History of Michelin:
Michelin began in 1888 in France producing rubber products for bikes and horse-drawn carriages. They gained mass popularity when they equipped an automobile with pneumatic tires for the 1895 Paris–Bordeaux Road Race.
Fast forward 130 years and now you have one of the most recognized tire brands in the world, with multiple ventures in restaurant ratings, travel guides, vehicle tires, and now new sole technology.
Keeping to their roots Michelin has now started producing rubber soles for 3rd party companies like Everlast and Under Armour. The soles maintain the same qualities of their tires; durability, performance, and great traction.
Their motto is "shoes are to us what tires are for vehicles. They are the connection between man and earth".
